Doris Osen
I love Britain and am proud to be British. It is a wonderful country whose people really are hard working, friendly and hospitable.

However, I am seriously concerned about Britain's dire financial situation, its deficit and debt which I believe is the root cause of many problems faced by our citizens. I fear for the younger and future generations who are experiencing poor pay, housing difficulties and debts and am aware that there are far too many disadvantaged people who do not receive the help they need.

I want to have the opportunity to approach members of the government, ministers and heads of Departments to suggest ways to reduce public spending in all areas, including the cost of our government and to campaign for a far more effective Education Service and NATIONAL (not privatised) Health Service.

I want to see a prosperous and financially viable Britain, a better future for our children and grandchildren, a more caring society for the disadvantaged and a fairer distribution of wealth.

MPs who belong to a party have to follow the party line. As an Independent, I am offering the voters of Ilford North a positive alternative to party politicians, someone who cares passionately about this country and its people and is prepared to express her own views and those of her constituents.

Voting for an Independent means voting for someone who really cares
and is not afraid to speak her mind..
My blog at sets out more issues
that need to be addressed.
