Environmental Networking Event

Forest Farm Peace Garden, the Environmental Strategic Partner for Redbridge Council, is pleased to invite you to a networking event geared specifically at individuals and environmental groups across Redbridge and neighbouring boroughs. The aim of the event is to create an opportunity where we can informally and enjoyably network and talk creatively about shared interests and opportunities for collaboration. The decision to hold this event is based on feedback from different groups saying that they value opportunities to network, but we have noticed that it is often difficult to do so in more formal settings such as the Sustainability Forum (see leaflet below).

To address this we have planned an informal event at Forest Farm Peace Garden for people involved in any kind of environmental groups/ campaign/ project in Redbridge and neighbouring boroughs. We have invited Francis Castro, a Senior Nature Conservation Ranger at Redbridge to chat to us about conservation initiatives and environmental volunteering projects across the borough, and we will make herbal tea from our herb garden and cook produce from the community garden in the bonfire, which should keep us warm!

The event is planned for Wednesday the 10th October, arriving at 5.45 for a 6pm start. Please let me know whether you are interested in coming along. It would be fantastic if you could let other interested people know about the event.
Hope to see you there!
