The Land That Feeds Us

the Hornbeam Centre Thursday 16th October at 7.30pm (food @6.30pm)

As the age of cheap plentiful oil comes to an end and forces our unsustainable food system to change, how can Britain feed itself? How does the history of land ownership and control on these isles impact on our food future? You are warmly invited to a public talk and discussion with Simon Fairlie, editor of The Land, at the Hornbeam Centre, 458 Hoe Street (corner of Bakers Ave) Walthamstow E17.

  1. B21 Thanks for this post - a very hard-working cause - Never a Saturday goes by without visitor's to this Centre - it's the Boundary Road side of Hoe Street and not far from Boundary Road - Baker's Arm etc.
Also don't forget The Hainault Peace Farm and those lovely Beetroot cakes, soup and goodies etc.
