According to the Mayor of London's website, "260,000 additional homes currently have planning permission in London".
That's enough to provide London with a 13 year supply of homes at the current average build rate (20k houses per year).
So why do we need to review Green Belt policy? We don't. London already has the land capacity, we just need planning permissions to be built-out. There is no need to sacrifice our precious green spaces. More...
