Christmas Message

The committee of Barkingside 21 wish all our readers a safe and enjoyable Christmas followed by a Happy New Year. May 2017 bring you inner peace and oneness with nature.

Please be extra careful on the roads over the holidays, you may have left the car keys at home while attending the office party, but others may not.

Here’s a Safer Night Out guide from Crimestoppers.

Oh, and at this time of year Burglaries usually rise. Please do make sure you have good quality locks and use them; leave lights on a timer when you are out and don’t leave presents lying about where they are easy to find. And if you hear banging and smashing next door please have a look, if it’s a burglar dial 999, the Police will be really pleased to hear from you if they can nab a crim in process.

And for heavens sake don’t leave the cardboard box that your expensive Christmas present came in outside your house so that passing opportunists know what you’ve got. Chop it up and put it in your recycling bin.

And here’s a handy guide on how to make your own Christmas go Crackers.
