New Community Garden needs your Vote

A new community garden at St. Peter’s Church, Aldborough Hatch, has been shortlisted for a public vote in the Tesco’s Bags of Help initiative.

Tesco has teamed up with Groundwork on its Bags of Help initiative in hundreds of regions across England and Wales and here St. Peter’s is one of three community groups who will receive grants of £12,000, £10,000 or £8,000 – all raised from the 5p bag charge.

The public will able to vote in Tesco’s Store at Barkingside between 26th September and 9th October to decide which of the three local community groups will receive the £12,000, £10,000 or £8,000 awards.

We don’t know who the other two community groups are yet, or what their project is, but we will let you know when we find out as we have to be fair and impartial and you may wish to vote for them instead.
