GoodGym Redbridge launch run

New area, new trainer, new tasks! New you?

GoodGym Redbridge launch run

Monday Jul 25th 6:45pm

GoodGym Redbridge is a new community of runners who get fit by doing good. Whether you’re new to running or are trying to beat your marathon PB, we’d love to have you involved in doing some good in Redbridge.

We do physical tasks that benefit our community and keep us fit. You can run in a pack to work on a community project, do one off missions to help vulnerable people or commit to visit an isolated older person every week.

You'll get the help of a qualified trainer and support to achieve your goals.

We’re super excited to announce that GoodGym is coming to Redbridge! GoodGym is the easiest and best way to get fit while doing something amazing for the local community. Come and join us as we do our first ever run in the borough!

For our launch event we'll be running a maximum of 5km in total to help out a local community allotment. This unique project is aimed at helping children, young people and adults with learning difficulties. They need more volunteers to help to get the allotment up and running and what better way to exercise than by reaping the rewards of what you sow, literally!

If you want to give your muscles a work-out and enjoy the good weather that is now upon us then sign up now. We'll run there, help them out and complete a fitness session all in 90 minutes. Let's do this Redbridge runners!

We'll meet at Wanstead House Community Association at 6.45pm and leave at 7.00pm sharp. We will return hot, sweat and happy by 8.30pm. There will be space to leave bags and somewhere to change, though runners should ideally come ready to run.

GoodGym would like to extend a massive thank you to the Wanstead House Community Association for the start location and and the Genesis Housing Association for providing the funding needed to start in the borough.
