Epping Forest – The next 10 years …

One of the interesting features of the Fairlop Fair yesterday was the number of ex-Redbridge council officers I bumped into and had a chat with. One wonders if there is anybody left in the Town Hall and if it is now earmarked for conversion into buy-to-let apartments within the the new Ilford Housing Zone? Anyway, one of them now works for the City of London Epping Forest (parts of which are in Redbridge) team and was keen for me to promote their current consultation. I have a big wad of hard copy leaflets to hand out at our various meetings but for those with access to this here interwebby thingy, this is for you …

The conservators of Epping Forest want to hear from you. They have outlined all the management issues which they believe affect the Forest and would like to hear what all their visitors think the management priorities should be for the next 10 years.

Your feedback will help them draft the next management plan for the Forest, covering the period 2017-2027. Your Starter for 10 is here…
