The Other Traffic Problem in Clayhall Ward

What with the rumpus over U-Turns in Clayhall Avenue one could be forgiven for forgetting about the problem for the residents in Redbridge Lane East down at Redbridge roundabout. Except our chairman once again decided to take that route for the Friends of Wanstead Parklands AGM just over a week ago, and sure enough it took ages to get out onto the roundabout.

This is another one for Transport for London and our London Assembly member Roger Evans who appears to have given up on blogging but is now on Twitter and writing a new novel. Both these issues surfaced around the same time three years ago, but then we pedestrians have been waiting patiently for traffic lights at Charlie Brown’s roundabout for much longer than that …..

Here’s Alan Haymes, a local resident and member of RedRAG speaking out for the Wanstead and Woodford Guardian and here is a link to his petition < click and sign please.
