Snubbed!

Now we know why Redbridge Council’s Grant Application to The London Mayor’s Outer London Fund for the “Barkingside Town Centre Improvement Project” was rejected.

Barkingside is not on Boris Johnson’s Radar Map!

  1. Could it be perhaps that the London Assembly member does not do enough to promote Redbridge?

  2. Conservative propaganda reproduced on the B21 website? Truly shocking!

    1. In order to see what's missing, you have first to see what's present. But I agree, it is shocking!

    2. Indeed shocking that our pathetic council can have a report on an outline scheme for Barkingside and then, more than 4 years later, have not a brass farthing to pay for it.

  3. Oh dear, no South Woodford, no Clayhall, no Seven Kings, etc etc etc - are you short of topics?

    1. Redbridge is made up of four former Administrative Districts - Woodford, Wanstead, Ilford and Barkingside. There was once a plan to have a Redbridge Town Hall located in Barkingside where the Magistrate's Court now stands. There endeth today's lesson on history.

  4. By publishing propaganda (from whatever source) B21 is doing us a favour.
Of course some of us will be gullible and believe what's printed but others will see through it and maybe some will even be motivated enough to correct errors and present us with the truth.(Truth? a very fluid concept!)
