London’s Trees

an Oak Tree in Claybury Park The Woodland Trust and Trees for Cities have teamed up to produce a Manifesto [PDF 3Mbts] for London’s Trees and Woods which contains eight key recommendations – all key issues for the future of trees in the capital.

They want to be sure that those in power support the protection and enhancement of the capital’s wonderful trees and woodland. So, they are sending this Manifesto to all those with the potential to influence the capital’s trees and woods – a vital resource that makes a very tangible impact on the quality of life for Londoners and everyone that visits the capital.

They ask for your help to encourage all the London Mayoral and Assembly candidates to give their support to the Manifesto and to ensure that once in power they do all they can to deliver on its recommendations.
