Avoid Wensleydale

From around mid-November to next March, Barhale on behalf of Thames Water will be replacing the drains in Wensleydale Avenue. This involves closing the road completely in 5 sections.
The first section will be from Clayhall Avenue up to and including the junction with Chalgrove and Ewellhurst.
Sections 2 to 4 will be in the part of Wensleydale between the two crossroads.
The last section will close the junction with Marston Road and a short distance of Wensleydale to the north.
It is expected that Barhale will be using their existing temporary site at the Wanstead Rugby Club in Roding Lane North as their base for storage of large vehicles and materials, but Planning permission for an extension has not yet been granted. Nor is it clear yet how they will manage the width restriction in Marston Road.

Traffic flows will be disrupted and you may experience some delays!!!

  1. I thought this blog was going to be about cheese! Lots of killer saturated fats in Wensleydale.
Yes, I'm suddenly unblocked from blogspot URL's. I can even go to my own blog!
